Very well done dialog, good background, not enough conflict to make the story of the contest interesting. Superhuman pinball takes some learning. You asked for critique or I would not have said anything. You are on your way!

Yeah, I was kind of hoping for a twist ending or some sort of adversary who wasn't a stereotypical nerd. I'll admit it needs work to be fantastic but that's what practice is for.

Here's my 2 cents for what it's worth...

I would agree with Misterscribbles, the dialogue was good and the background and plot was good. The only thing I had an issue with is I would have liked to see more spacing in between text and I seen just a few grammatical errors, otherwise not bad.

If you were to break up those larger blocks of text, it would make it easier to read.

All in all it was a good story! Keep at it, you can only improve!
