Whee! My wife found another, classic work I did for her back in the day!
Up until a few years ago, the only things I could draw were my own, story characters and Yoshies. However, I loved Scorchios so much that I just had to learn to draw them.
So, while I was in Colorado, I used my Baby Scorchio Event Shirt as a template and just drew-and-drew until I got it right.
This little guy here, as the date shows, was clearly drawn and colored back in 2006. However, I feel it is my best, Scorchio of all. What do you think?

Your fest Scorchio so far? I think I'd have to agree! (: The face is very much there, and the rest, though I don't know the species well, doesn't look far odd either. The coloring for it turned out great too. :D Quite bold.
The other thing I really like here is the background. 8D White dots, latter-ish lines, it's all really creative and pretty. :3 I'm glad you were able to re-discover a neat ole piece like this again!

Ditto! I lit up like a candle when she showed me this. It's always nice to go back and look over some of your first ever works. Gives you a perspective of where you've been and how far you have come. Sometimes, even, classics give you reminders of concepts you had long ago that you never meant to forget in the first place.
