Some of you might know that the first new subway line in New York City opened for business at noon on New Year's Day 2017. I took the first train of the day to the end of the line in search of this mosaic on the wall of one of the upper levels of one of the three new stations when I saw it on the news. What i found out about most if not all such works of art at the 76th Street station are based on real people evidenced by one of a Saxophone player who just happened to be standing next to his mosaic. I do not know if this person is a furry but if he is he will be the first to be represented as art in the NYC system.
