A shot of characters which will reappear over the years and all, from right to left, Demonia, the demon; Vicer, the demi-demon; Tanya, the demi-angel; and the angel on the right has yet to be given a name I'm happy with, any ideas?

Anyways this setting looks at angles and demons as having a specific job in the scheme of things, angles reward and defend while demons punish and defend mortals. Hell is not the evil side, it is simply where those who are deserving are punished. Demi-angles or demi-demons are mortals who have pledged themselves to the cause of one set or the other, they go through trials and eventually become nearly as powerful as true planers, and once they have been killed (usually very horribly by the church in the case of demi-demons) they are guaranteed to become a true planer. As mentioned earlier the church will crucify demi-demons (demons are too difficult to capture) without question, and in this setting the church is run by fanatics which have extended the religion to full religious control over most of their world.
