I was going through some old art yesterday and came across this. Not sure of the date, but it was drawn on animation paper so it was probably within a few years of graduation.
As scene from the novel Duncton Wood, showing Mandrake about to kill what's-is-name (Rebecca's boyfriend). Rebecca on the bottom right (you can tell it's a girl mole becuz she has eyelashes) Rune on top right.

Hello! I am the great Duncton Wood fan and I work on the illustration series! I want to ask your permission to use this sketch as a base for an illustration, I like it's composition and sometimes it's a bit hard for me to choose and embody plots from books... There will be changes, cause my style is different and I need to reread the piece of the book to wake my own images. Of course I will give you credits)
