I got this super cool creature from 
glittersaurus which is now Sigmind's battle mount.
I figure they're not as strong or fast as horses, but they're much more intelligent. Better suited for mages, since carrying heavy armour would be difficult for them.
Sigmund's bab here is flamingo-like. He looks a little ridiculous compared to a war horse but he's a good steed, and Sigmund likes him plenty. He's a secret sucker for light pink.
