Some plush therapy places, do a full tear down, and then put you back together, new stuffing, new thread, and a few new pieces of fabric. (Can be done more than once, since you can't replace all the fabric at once)

There is also the alternative, known as the plush core. Where part of your original fabric and stuffing is sewn into a smaller version of yourself (half a roll of toilet paper size, so micro sized, can be smaller as well). Now the advantages with this are when you want to switch bodies it is as easy as jumping out of one into another, also don't have have to be limited by species. Also since the smaller body is completely usable going a day or two between bodies won't be a problem.
The pervious method I talked about can actually be used to switch from a plush to an inflatable and back (a little jarring since you loose like 90 percent of you body weight, from stuffing). Fun for when about to go on a trip and really need to save on air fare. Also nice when heading to the beach, don't need to worry about filling up with sand (god that stuff is hard to get out).
The downside to either of these, is that you have register them with the government, can't have someone with an identity running around.
