If I remember right, a bit of dialogue in the game calls Trico a He.

So apparently the game wasn't pitch perfect, but damn it that guy is so adorable! <3

oh definitely the game is not perfect by any means. Clunky controls, horrible camera and some times Trico's AI is hard to work with. But honestly, overall I enjoyed the game tremendously. But a big part of that reason is probably because I'm very biased and pretty much worship any thing Team ICO makes lmaooo..

Meh, sometimes a bit of bias lets you play an otherwise subpar game as if it was really good, so there's nothing wrong with that.
I mean, I love the Sonic series, for better or worse, and I used to be crazy about both Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Unleashed. The former obviously started a downwards trend and I realise that now, but Unleashed is imo an underrated gem, and I stand by that statement with vigor. It's not the best thing Sonic-related, the werehog stages would've made more sense with another character playing them (like Shadow for example) and some of the smaller elements bug me a bit, but gameplay-wise there's little to complain about even when playing as the werehog, the day stages became a sort of blueprint for how modern Sonic plays and it was a great recovery from '06.
So yeah, I'm biased, but that's what lets me enjoy something that others wouldn't. So... What can I say? A bit of bias isn't bad, so long as you're aware that you're biased of course. :D
