Boz: "Yoo keeeeled my mastah, and now I must KEEEEEEEEEEEEL you! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!"
Karmakat: "…wrong form of martial arts, Boz"
Wooohoo, another commission completed…only 50 to go!
So here’s another commission, this time for Karmakat, who came to me like…god only knows how many months ago, after I submitted another commission. Basically he wanted myself and he having a friendly match of some sort of kick boxing. I was like…okay, how can I do that? Then it hit me, MAUY THAI! It’s this neat-oriffic sport where you get to wear these really big baggy but sexy looking shorts and NOTHING else while you beat each other up with feet! Ain’t it great…so I thought I’d go with that.
Hope Karmakat likes this, worked really hard on it, and I’m relatively pleased with how it came out. Thanks again man for this chance to do something different!

Well I guess that the way Boz draws legs (more animal-like than human-like), the impression that Kat is bent knee isn't as strong as the same pose for a human...
Besides, about adding some movement, he could have added lines and impact marks to represent the kick and the hit... That's why a drawing is interesting, you can add effects that doesn't appear on a photo and enhance them :3
And for the fact that he took this from a reference... No offence at all, and nothing about this pic, but you can't say that because he took a reference, it has to be a complete success, you see what I mean?

I feel somehow my point was missed. These two are clearly NOT human anyhow.
I do understand that because a pic is taken from reference doesnt mean it will be perfect. Effects in my opinion would ruin the pic and would counter what I told you about the pic and what is happening. KK is pulling away after an impact, http://www.muaythai-fighting.com/im.....-Kaoklai-2.jpg although this is not the ref pic, you can see the same effect.

Not human??? wow, hadn't noticed :p Hehe joking, but I said that because animals legs are naturally "bent", so it's not really clear if he's bent knee or not...
Effects would ruin it in your opinion, but I just gave mine you know... Didn't say it was the best thing to do, just thought about pointing an interesting part... *shrugs*
