Here's the fourth answer from the Ask Me stuff. Decided to answer a question from Facebook, and noticed my goat, asked me something similar.

Well, I started out as a brown house cat with super powers. But as the time went on, he seemed less and less me and more of a character in a fiction I was writing. So I tried to go wolf for a while [My character Ven] and jackal [My character Infinity], and wound up making an "update" to the old cat sona. I mixed some jackal, dragon, horse, skunk, and I started to call the species an "unaka".Unfortunately, like they all managed to do, the character became less and less like me. So I tried again, this time putting a LOT of effort into it.

I made a personality profile of myself, even using my family to make sure I was unbias on my own behaviors, and wound up coming out gazelle or dragon. Well, gazelle sounded more like the docile little thing I had become, so Samuel came around. I suck with the gazelle, even after coming out as transgender. It fit. But as normal, the gazelle was me, but that wasn't all I was. So my friend suggested a rather lewd transformation. I designed the appearance that night, and gaze it a trial run. The more I used that "form", the more I came to love it. So I decided to keep the changed I had made, and Skyy was thrilled I kept the changes. ^^ Being half dragon filled in the rest of the personality holes, and I couldn't be happier with my furry persona!
