She really is such a pretty girl, and the uniform looks really good on her. I really like her pose and her happy, eager expression here, too. She looks like she's just about to set out on a grand adventure somewhere, and is looking forward to it with kittenish glee.

I really lucked out since I'm terrible at designing clothes. Fox Die is always great about designing outfits that look cool and are functional looking at the same time. Whenever I want to design an outfit with a certain look I put it in his hands. ;) Topaz's student uniform pretty much became the default student uniform, and I figured all of the kids would wear the same outfit (with a gender appropriate variant) so they could be immediately identified by the instructors as to their status and grade level.

I've always kind of figured Topaz had a bright personality in stark contrast to her brother who generally is much more serious (as older siblings tend to be). She's mature when it calls for it, but when just interacting she's usually cheery.
