One day, Turgoun was so angry, he called Iho and Tangene over. "Do you think this is funny?" inquired Turgoun to the two as he displayed the picture of him getting fat off the tasty, juicy reindeer-moss. Filled with fear, Iho ducked underneath his mother who was equally as terrified. Turgoun continued, "I don't like being fat! Therefore, I'll show you what it's like being fat!"
So, he dragged over a pile of eighty immense bananas with his antlers and asked the two, "I hope you like the smell and taste of bananas and all, because you're going to get it! Iho, front and center!"
Iho obediently stepped forward. Immediately, Turgoun dragged one banana from the pile and pointed it right at Iho's mouth. "Open wide," he commanded. Then, he positioned himself over the banana, violently crouched down and struck his massive, bony chest against the peel. And with one impact, the fruit of the banana slid out and shot right into Iho's mouth.
Tangene now saw that Iho's belly stretched very far past his legs, then rocked back and forth in a gelatin-like manner. "Again," commanded Turgoun. Iho took a second swallow, then a third, a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, and so on and so forth until Turgoun finished the first half of the pile. Tangene stood petrified to see his son get punished by eating a whole lot of bananas in one sitting. Eventually, Iho's stomach had grown up to two hundred times the size of what it used to. The young fawn immediately fell asleep.
Turgoun said to Tangene, "You're next! Front and center!" As Tangene thought about running away, Turgoun immediately dragged a banana and thrust down on it. It happened very instantly as if he could read her mind. So, he finished off a pile of bananas towards Tangene, leaving him with a slight ache in the chest and the two as immobile blobs...
The characters Iho (Айхо), Tangene (Тангэнэ) and Turgoun (Тургун) and the film Храбрый олененок are owned by ФГУП ТПО Киностудия Союзмультфильм, a division of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
