Interesting character! The anatomy is very solid and believable, the scene itself gives a nice mystical essence to it.

I think brightening the sandy mist at the bottom and a little bit up to the character's wings would help bring out it's form. Alternatively, brightening the ends of the wing membranes I think would give similar effect without altering the dust beneath it. A bit too much of the character blends into the background. The glowing eyes catch the eye first, but I feel the viewer has to work a little bit to understand the shapes of the rest of the character which should otherwise flow naturally.

Otherwise, this is a very great piece, good work! :)
