I've got the gift of one liners,
And you've got the curse of curves.
And with this gift I compose words,
And the question that comes forward,
Are you perspiring from the irony,
Or sweating to these lyrics?
And this just in,
You're a dead fit.
Just a doodle I did of Valentine in class today.
I wanted to do something cute, and chubby.
I always feel like I draw Valentine far too thin.
The arm is awkward, but whatever.
I plan to digital lineart and color when I get the time.

The big issue I see is the shoulders. They don't seem to be... there, as if the arms just flow from the neck. Setting up that little 'u' at the base of the neck to show the collar bone is a good habit to get into (find a way of doing it yourself, creatively :p). That'll give you the base to show where the shoulders will be positioned -- arched forward, squared, lifted, slumped, ect. It also dictates how your arms will be crafted as they flow.
The rest seems to be perspective issues, which is fine. Its hard x3; I almost want to say the head's too big, but I think the real issue is that its just floating there with no visible neck. I know its supposed to be beneath but lines to show it exists helps put the mind at ease -- again, collar bone and all lines associated with it (as an example :P).
Next is everyone's favorite -- hands. On perspective, they're a little puny. ALso, the bone leading up to the thumb should be jutting out slightly more.
Lastly, her left (my right) arm doesn't quite sync up with the arm leading up to the incredible missing shoulders. Just a technical issue, when in digital draw the lines on an underneath layer all the way through and then just fill it in on the for-real layer as it should be.
Everything else is just practice :3
