I had noticed and it was stated in a way by Aerobaticsman that the Tenebrae Sniper Rifle was large and I infered it would be heavy as well. So i took it back to the drawing board, again, and the result was a fairly lighter Tenebrae with minor stock changes. Used a G36 stock as a reference of sorts since I LOOOOVE a G36.
Major improvement is a bolt action and I kept the gas chamber because... well I liked the way it looked and we own a 3030 lever action that has one so i kinda figured 'why can't a bolt action' Not really knowledgable as I should about most guns or why one thing can't be put on another but if all else fails i can fall back and say 'the under barrel holds cartridges.'
Anyhow gave it a larger higher powered scope and kept the bi-pod because I felt any sniper rifle should have a bi-pod. Thought I wouldn't be able to finish it tonight but I managed to pull it off.
Anyhow hope I cna get some good critique on this.

That looks really good. I like the design a lot. Looks a lot lighter and, as a result, more maneuverable. And of course you included my favorite action. lol And, just as an idea, perhaps the bottom tube holds a cleaning rod for in the field cleaning. After all, the M1 Garands from WWII had a compartment in the stock for cleaning kits. So there's an idea at least. Beautiful rifle.
Thanks I like it too since it appears much lighter. After all bolt action is best with accuracy, or so I've heard. The bottom tube could be used for that, its night here and my brain is wanting to shut off. So yeah, a cleaning rod could be a good back up if the gas chamber part doesn't work out.
Looks like a comfortable rifle to shoot :P My only very small complaint is that the bi-pod looks to be blocking where your hand should go. If you ever redisgn it I would suggest the bi-pod go further up the barrel :)
Also Bolt-actions are the most satisfying weapons to fire with :)

lol I keep having to reload images meh I may reload it someday but likely not anytime soon. I tried to make it both light and comfortable since the original was kinda of heavy and klunky.
Bolt actions are the best when you want percession and accuracy, if you want to rattle off a whole mag and try to hit something go get a full auto rifle. But still bolt actions and 'assualt rifles' have their respective places.
