Just a reference picture of my self made hickory hunting bow. I love all things archery and especially turning a stave of wood into a serviceable hunting weapon!
This is the side profile view of it while unstrung.
The purpose of this is to show off my craft a little and also to provide some visual reference, because one day I would love to do a commission with my character and this bow rendered in the piece! It would bring out a special personal quality to the piece.
it is 66" tip to tip, 64" nock to nock in the Eastern Woodland Style with authentic Diamond Cherokee design limb tips, and a self made D97 12 strand string with wool string dampeners and hand stitched brown suede leather handle.
