Red, walking towards the bird village, hissed as he clutched his painful arm.

A bit earlier, he was taking a stroll close to the mountains when he tripped over a root. He then got stuck in a bunch of vines.
After angrily dislodging himself from there and ripping them off, he noticed with surprise that they hid the entrance of a cave, unknown.
In curiosity, he went inside.
And his curiosity grew as he found in it some ruins.
They were too damaged to be identifiable, but once thing was more or less intact: a sort of altar.
Getting closer to it, the bird saw a marking on it, looking like a stylized R.
He tried to brush the dust and rubble away to have a better look at it.
But at the instant he touched the altar, a violent pain crossed his arm.
He then ran off, cursing in pain, anger and shock, to see the doctor.
He could see the village now, and his arm still hurt as hell.

Suddenly, the pain went away. Relieved, he looked at his arm...
And saw a strange marking on it, that obviously wasn't there before. The same marking that was on the altar, and that was glowing.
What the hell?! thought the bird. What does this...
A shock on his skull cut short his thoughts.
"OW!! What the..."
He stopped, dumbstruck.
It was a tree branch that hit him.
But it didn't hit him because it fell.
It hit him because he was getting taller than it.
Flabbergasted, he watched in astonishment as his body grew steadily taller than the trees, as he felt mass and power build in him.
And as the bird village looked like a model to him and his chest started to swell even more, a smile started to tug at his beak...

And one Angry Birds giant growth, one!
Yeah, I prefer the movie to the games. Sue me
Note that I'll stay vague about the pic's chronology towards the movie. It's AFTER the movie, of course, but I want to be sure to have place for the announced sequel.
