Well there were some pretty good reasons on the original that required me to make some adjustments.
1.) Barrel was elongated and flipped so the barrel that fired the prokectile is ontop.
2.) Moved the reciever I believe it was called down so it was level with the top barrel.
3.) I don't think the scope was an issue but I removed the small one and added a higher power scope to it. As for the power strength, I don't know, something stronger than the original scope.
Other than that little else was changed aside from having to repostion the bi-pod, still slightly (even less now than before) based off the German StG 44. As for rounds it still fires 7.62mmK (K = Kurz. Kurz meaning short.) Anyhow I can't think of anything that can be stated other than this is a mid range sniper rifle.

That looks really good. I will admit one thing, though. It looks hefty. lol Certainly a lot of metal in there. But it kind of has that intimidating appearance of a Barret M107. You know, it just LOOKS like it'll hurt like hell if you get hit by a shot from it. It's a beast, and I like that in a rifle such as this. I imagine it would play a perfect role as a platoon designated marksman rifle with it's fire control options and caliber. Certainly wouldn't mind taking it to combat. Great work.
Thanks. I think the only Barret Rifle I've seen so far (or lately) was teh Barret M98 (Or was it M89 ) it was in last months issue of Rifleman. Has the .338 Lapua rounds, but my little toy here fires 7.62mm Kurz rounds. I think I'll have to agree it would make a good marksman rifle.
The Barret is a good rifle but I still think teh world of H&K. They don't sacrifice a thing when making a weapon. They make everything on that weapon equal and the best it can be. Currently working on a spinoff of the Tenebrae at the moment, doubt I'll have the chance to finish it tonight unless I horde away the laptop and stay up to work on it.
Thanks for the comment and kind words.
