Unless people take to these, I'm not sure that I'll actually upload any more of these. There's an exercise in a book that a friend got for my girlfriend, who then gave it to me because she doesn't draw, that involves studying your own brush strokes. Basically, you do no under drawing with pencil (those light gray shades you see are a lighter grade of ink than the darker one on the paper. I chose it to bring out more depth in the portrait), then you just draw something, rather spontaneously, without really doing too much planning with your strokes. I mean, you're thinking about where you're going to put them, but, you let them come out as they would naturally, without putting heavy design or pattern to them. Thus, you create something "naturally" and it sort of brings out your emotion and various other things. I'm not good at explaining this crap at the moment, but, I think you understand what I mean.
