As for my own opinion of your pic, I like it -- makes me think of what Kimba would look like as a mustelid (and I LOVE Kimba!).
Pupilless eyes are my pet favourite character design trait, even though in this case it's more likely to be a stylized version of realistic animal eyes, that appear like tiny shiny black beads.
Anyway, a nice picture ! Sorry I haven't been around much.
It seems to me you use to wear glasses IRL too, *looks at the avatar*
