The first in a series of character wallpapers I hope to do.
Already made 3 - and this is the first. ^^
That's why i put it in a 1024x780 pixel size as well, so you *might* see some errors, lol. Overal I'm happy with how it came out, though the new shading technique I used (burn tool) didn't seem to be visible all that well. o.o'
Ah well. <3
Check out the uber leet new artist's tag! :D <3

Well by some kind of miracle I can't comprehend, you've actually managed to make it look good in this. But I'd stop using the burn tool before you start. It's in the name - burn! And that's what it'll do to your artwork. It's a crappy, lazy way of shading. A better alternative is cel-shading like you always have done, and then blurring or smudging the edges to give them the soft blending look. The burn tool is uneven and kinda lazy too!
At the end of the day it's up to you if you decide to carry on using it... XD

Tsk, I am a miracle. *posh*
But I did the same here... only I didnt use the pen tool and paintbucket, instead I made a clipping mask, used the dark gray blue and burnt it. Shading with the pen tool is annoying for me since you cant make any detailed shapes, and you have to do it all over again if you want a darker shade. With a burn tool or brush, you only have to brush the same place again xD
