[u]Dealing with Wildfires
"It's only a test"
Cas had muttered this to himself merely minutes before starting, and yet somehow it had turned from a test into something drastic. A small rock, super-heated past its durability, shattered as the flames worked at the toms barricade. Moments after sending the Fire Absorber hurtling towards the blaze, he felt the result of his previous work- several shards of rock barely missed his eyes, embedding themselves into the skin about his right. Startled, he tripped over his own paws, crashing into the grassy slope beside him, gasping in shallow breaths in attempt to fill his winded lungs.
He listened intently to the crackling of the inferno before him, noting the sensation of something warm dribbling down his eyelid and cheek, and the urgent cry of Chief Leilani-
"Get a Shaman!"

Part of my final piece to get the certificate for completion of the Wildfire Prevention Course- Cas almost failed this due to sustaining injury, but it was only due to using a small rock which are easy to explode in high heat [i know this from doing this |'D]. However he used the Fire Absorbing stone well and managed to put out the fire in a retest after having his wounds tended to by Cedrick.
