Hahhahaa! Sounds like what I do when I do a drawing on photoshop as well! But it turned out just great in the end! I gotta say, seeing the original a few days ago and then seeing this in comparison, this newer version REALLY look live. How shading can really bring a picture to life and look amazing, huh? Insta fave in my books! ^^ I still dig the boots and the rose designs on th girl's outfits too.

yeah, the small details add so much more to the picture, don't they? I need to learn to do that with the backgrounds, too.

omg, it is REAL easy to do shading on a bg. Like for example of what I do is I use the lasso to trace along the areas that I want to shade and then hit the birghtness/contrast button under layers to create a layer made for shading or lighting. Most people I know use the color black to do shading which is good, but to me, I use the B/C to get certain tones of shade and stuff plus, I can always readjust it if I want to. Try that out if you haven't already! Hope that tip helps ^^

Well I can say I haven't tried that. I usually make a new shading layer on top of what is already there and run an airbrush across it. I'll have to try that out, though. :D
