I think I've managed to accomplish more in the last couple of weeks than I have in the last six months! There's something to be said for working smaller. This picture, at 11x14 inches, is about a quarter of the size of the stuff I've been doing through the earlier three-quarters of the year.
This is the latest in the Dance of Balance series. I wanted to use the yin-yang motif, but I didn't want to use the typical black and white duality. Instead, I thought I'd use sapphire and gold.
I colored the dragons with Prismacolor Premier pencils. The background is scrapbook paper over an acrylic/ink base board. The dragons are surrounded by pearl and shell beads and a few blue rhinestones.
