Map location 60.132458N 30.154867W am Danger Close... Possibly 150 meters on their 4 'O clock, maybe closer... They've not detected me or else they would have intercepted me by now. Their current heading is 162, speed estimated 50-kph. Over.

My God... That's barely 30-km North or 45 minutes away...

It gets worse... The Destroyer that deployed them has not... Say again NOT lifted off. Am assuming it's preparing to deploy another platoon of walkers judging by the height at which it is continuing to hover. Over.

With all due respect General Rieekan... I may be an independent with no formal ties to the Rebellion, however that does not relieve me of my sense of compassion! I will stay behind and pick off targets of opportunity and assist however I can. This weather is working in all of our favors. I can barely see them, it's safe to assume they sure as hell can't see me and my tiny panzer. The Empire will no doubt send out Scout ATST to assist navigation of the ATAT, and since I do not have a thermal reactor to power my tank, I'm even more stealthy and of service to the Rebellion as a fighting scout... a Ranger... who could preemptively attack guerilla style and delay them as long as possible so you can better prepare! Over.

[Princess Leia] You understand Yukikaze... We're barely begun to prepare for our evacuation and delaying action... There's no guarantee we can assist you if the Empire suddenly decides to focus their fury on you... You still wish to stay behind and help us? Over.

A little something I decided to make whilst Hubbs and I anticipate watching Rogue One in our local cinema some time next week or so.

It occurred to me watching the trailers on youtube, that the ATAT and ATACT armored cargo transporters in particular, seemed more vulnerable to kinetic and explosive attacks than medium to large caliber "Blaster" attacks. As such, it would seem reasonable to surmise attacking an ATAT with a rail or coil gun equipped tank or tank-hunter would be more successful than beating on it with mass blaster volleys as seen in the canonical Hoth battle. So I could not help but self-insert with my coil gun equipped tank, Rachel, in a bit of Mary-Sue - Help The Rebels moment! :D

Poor Vades is gunna be so pissed! Imagine a (relatively speaking) antiquated crawler tank with a "mass driver" destroyed a dozen or more scout ATST and damaged four ATAT with leg shots that slowed them down to being nearly combat ineffective, leaving General Maximilian Veers' Blizzard One platoon the only effective assault squad to break through to the main Thermal Core Generator powering the Rebel Shield.

I would have loved to have personally been the one to put a bullet in Max's tushy and prevented him from wiping out the Rebel shield, but alas, Veers was hidden in the snow squalls too well, and gone undetected by Yuki... Pitty...

Oh and incidentally YES... Veers was, along with another character Maximillian in another unrelated movie that was the inspirational name for hubby's online personage. :D
