Here we have Daren in this four part sequence turning into a large, muscular werefox. He does seems to be fighting it in the third panel, but the beast won out in the end.
I admit that I do have a story idea with an alternative version of Daren being a werefox bouncing in my head. I may write it down someday or I may just simply give out what the idea is. ^.|.^;;

Heh... Daren as a werefox. It would be an interesting Alternate Universe.
Mind you, it would HAVE to be an alternate universe. Canonically, Daren's species should be able to resist any transformation inflicted upon him by default... not to mention, aren't permanent transmutations supposed to be poisonous to him? Always did wonder about that last part, what does count as permanent? Not everything designed with an unlimited duration is malicious, and even things designed to resist being reversed can potentially be reversed and/or overwritten with enough effort.
Oh... and purely out of academic curiosity... would this werefox story take place in a human world, or an anthro world? In a hypothetical situation.

But yeah, bringing this up reminded me why I was being all "cryptic and sly" in that last sentence. Which of course meant I needed to spend half an hour digging through my google docs to make sure I still had that old story idea file... which yikes, I only wrote four paragraphs? My brain is filled with WAY more ideas concerning this never-to-be-written story and it has been years.
And yes, it is sadly on the never-to-be-written story list. I have a completely OTHER fan story involving your characters I need to finish before I start doing another one; you know the one.
Though, light spoilers to a never-to-be-written story... it would have been human.
