Here is one of the earlier pictures I put on my first fufufinity account, roundabout 2009.
Is this image erotic? I did not intend for it to be. At least not in the sense of teasing in anticipation of more conventionally explicit followups because there weren't any and there aren't any. But considering the sort of comments I got then and the sort of contacts that came from it and various other its, clearly things were taken that way. And I am glad people find their own purposes for nemitz, and I welcome them to. But please do not assume they are the same as mine. I think not correcting people who did that was a major mistake. But I could not always tell. Especially surrounded by dorks like nemitz who err habitually.
I do like sleekness. And I like smoothness. And I like these fools exactly as they are. They could stand to be better drawn but they do not have any parts that I have not drawn on them.

for me its highly erotic because i have a foot fetish , and especially since it was drawn by you,even though it wasnt your intention to make it erotic , i guess im a weirdo .
I hope i dont make you feel upset. to others it may not be erotic at all in any way and they might see it as a color drawing with imps demons and lizards in it .

I am surely the weirdo for drawing pictures that send the wrong messages to so many people!
What upsets me is having "friendships" that are built on the foundation of a presumed shared interest in boring and/or smutty artwork and related aspects of contemporary culture. As long as whoever understands that I am not content with that, and can still find topics to discuss, we can potentially have a decent time of things. I may talk about this too much! I want to leave as much unpleasantry as possible in 2016.
What upsets me is having "friendships" that are built on the foundation of a presumed shared interest in boring and/or smutty artwork and related aspects of contemporary culture. As long as whoever understands that I am not content with that, and can still find topics to discuss, we can potentially have a decent time of things. I may talk about this too much! I want to leave as much unpleasantry as possible in 2016.
I imagine part of the trouble arises from my drawing the things naked, which does appeal to my specific preferences to a degree, though not in this picture. I thought as long as I did not include stuff I didn't want, nobody else would assume I wanted it. And I certainly do not know why the picture being small would make a difference!
Happens sometimes, iconized pictures make a slightly to very different impression - usually the full drawing is not as good as is looke like in small, more rarely that's the opposite, and as for what's happening with yours, that's quite exceptional and I encoutered it only a couple times before! Probably due to lack of détails in the small version so the brains reconstruct somthing according to the viewer's humor or character. Ummmmmmh, so that would mean I'm sexually obsessed, not quite false... LOL

I had no idea that you could've been going through these things with people , all i have known personally is that there are lots and lots of lizards ,imps and feet in your gallery/comic and it drives me crazy, I just thought that you didn't share my intrest, and wasnt your intention , so i kept it to myself.And i thought it was only me who thought that way ,but apparently there are others, im surprised. Also i didn't think others had intresets in nemitz in ways that you didnt intend, thats very surprising to me as well. I can imagine it must be very awkward for you with your stuff being all completely innocent, i feel bad for you :( Ive been seeing your stuff for a very long time now on da through multiple accounts since i was in highschool late 2007-2008ish

I opened the door, I like certain things in certain ways. I drew them naked, I emphasized their figures. It is not necessarily "innocent," I suppose, but few figurative works truly are. However, little accurate is ever concluded from this beyond what I show. Not necessarily you, but people extrapolated from these drawings that I am a man and gay, and also that all my characters are, and I got pulled into uncomfortable situations based on that, that I did not realize were bad, because I did not realize what people were reading off me, or how to say it was wrong. I did not think it mattered. And before the internet, people assumed things about me. Now I realize it is necessary to state what I am not. That would probably be easier if I knew what I was. I am yet uncertain!
From what I recall, nobody apart from you has said anything about feet. That seems like a neutral topic. I am much more likely to employ shoes under certain circumstances, and nobody picks up on that having special significance. Although my other art has also gotten me involved with totally useless people. I do not know how to find the people I need. It only happens through rare accidents.
Right now I am very tired and dull in "real life." I have been trying and failing for many years. I appreciate that you have put forth so much effort to understand my issues. I hope to be more pleasant in the future.

oh my,this is all surprising to me, that's some pretty dark stuff, didnt think people went that far with you with the stuff you draw. I myself am gay ,and being so is just normal to me, i dont even really think on it much , though i must say nothing in any of your pics ever made me think of you ,or the characters being gay , it never crossed my mind, not sure how that was brought about and construed by others. Now that i think of it, i never had any issues/problems with anyone with my art. By now i see that theres a whole lot of stuff you went/go through that i never could have imagined. With the stuff you draw, i just don't see how it could bring issues and stuff ,so it's quite a shock to me yeah.I could never guess what things you like in certain ways , i assumed that you was innocent-minded,and always drew things sorta egolessly without any thought of "naughtiness" , and just kinda did your own thing making pictures with pinecones and other silly stuffs. just didnt see a deeper side of it .

oh yeah forgot to mention that im not in it just only for the fetish stuff, but because of the color harmonies , and compositions, and the bizarre somewhat surreal nonsense , and the overall artistic value, i always try to employ these things in my own artwork as well, its fun to see what you and others do with colors lol
I love your imps! The are indeed smooth and slick and make me feel great! Each time you explain something about your inner workings, I can only remember this quote from Goethe:
"No-one has ever properly understood me, I have never fully understood anyone; and no-one understands anyone else"
But on my own perspective in which I hate gender and feel uncomfortable with most erotic stuff, your art is great to look at. The figureyness and design, the funny personalities and situations, the motion and interaction, it works with me, and I'd very much love to live in the world you created.

Yerks I legitimately never even considered that. It seems like such an absurd stretch. I only singled this one out over a bunch of old pictures because a specific person that caused me trouble mentioned this as being the one favorite. Plus a mildly sleazy comment from someone else I knew not to deal with. Thank you for your investigative reporting!
The viewer is going to interpret things according to their own tastes and desires. They will thwart your original intentions, even if you take the trouble to explain those intentions (and ESPECIALLY if you don't.)
I have a piece of paper hanging in front of my drawing board with the message "YOUR WORK WILL BE MISUNDERSTOOD BY SOME PEOPLE." It has been there, reminding me, for almost a decade.
