About a year ago I was just starting to get through some pretty tough times. I was nervous about who I wanted to be as an artist. But I started to find my way little by little.
During the summer I decided to quit digital media in favor of traditional painting. I've still been too busy to take more than a few tentative steps towards mastering the media, but I am still much happier working with physical media than I ever was with digital, and I don't plan to look back any time soon.
In September my boyfriend bought a house that will soon become our home once I graduate. With firm ground within sight, I have found the confidence to continue to soar to a bright future.
Now I know where I want to be, and I have a clearer idea more than ever how to achieve it.
