Having run into Victor on his quest for the ellusive honey, Victor's offer to help the rat turns into nothing more than him helping himself to some tasty rat. Though you can't say that Victor lied to the unfortunate rat. After all, his breath does smell like honey, and he was being truthful in showing Rodent where the aroma was coming from.
Once again, the layout of this comic is simply perfect. From the expressions on both of their faces, to the flow of the scene itself, it perfectly tells the story here. I simply love the sequence of frames showing Victor swallowing down Rodent, and that final shot of him relaxing back with the full belly and snacking on Rodent's remaining nuts, is marvelous. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out.

*smiles* The idea of starting to dissolve while still in the mouth has a delightful appeal to it; knowing that even if you were somehow able to pull out of those jaws, your fur and flesh would still be melting, unless you could find a way to get washed off rather quickly. :)

Oh my! Why he eats rats just the way I do (only I usually play with mine a little first ^_^). That's just an incredibly lovely series, catching you with his tail, snatching up your head, then, mmmmmm, those mouth watering haunches of yours hanging outside his jaws, sliding down his lips, then there's nothing left of you but that meaty tail of yours. You know I just love nibbling and slurping down a tasty rat tail as I feel its owner wriggling inside me. *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!*

*smiles* There is a delightful appeal to both types of predators. Being toyed with for a while is nice, as it gives the prey the prolonged, false hope that they might just get out of this alive. While just being snatched up and gobbled down reduces the prey to nothing more than an object as food. Knowing that the pred considers you as about as equivalent as a mushroom, holds as much fun as being treated as a toy by others.
Of course, winding up in the same place in the end is what matters the most. :)
And yes... eat those evil squirrels all up. Always thinking they're better than us rats because they're all cute and have fluffy tails. :p
