...Yup.
I'm rather happy with how this came out even with the numerous little setbacks. For starters, just before I started inking it, I found that my Micron pen had ran out of ink, thankfully, I had a back-up (not a micron, though). After I had done all the paints and started getting into the crazy-liney background, my gel marker decided that it wanted to quit on me too, so I had to switch to sharpie instead (you can actually see a where I had to switch in the large diamond in the lower left corner). Those and I totally screwed up the club and spade card suite-shap-things in the corners...
Heh, maybe I should've taken a picture to show what it looked like before I added the background.
Oh, and I don't want this to turn into a "Spot the Differences" contest, all the differences are purely of my own mistakes. I tried my best to make them look virtually identical without tracing it, using computers, or magic-ing it; and I think I did a good job. so there.
EDIT: I went back in with the watercolors so I could deepen some of the shadows.

My need for excessive amounts of detail likely comes from my need for detail in origami :)

The good news is that you can do both the flapping crane AND the shrimp-level things. Personally, I am fond of the hopping frog, but the "hopping" part always came out kinda lame.
Anyway, we can always dream about the best of both: a flapping Scaled Wyvern would be the greatest- no, wait! An Angel of Death with a karate chop ! That'll be the greatest origami ever!! (I'm astonished at the mere idea of it)
