Summary of Art - 2015
Now that I've re-read the description and if I wouldn't be so tired, I'd let out a huge snort at the last sentence.
We all know 2016 was shit. For most of us, but I know some exceptions for whom it was a lucky year!
For me it was just disappointing as ever and probably my worst year so far.
Never felt so beaten down, hopeless, desperate and volatile. It just consistent trying, and trying, searching and trying, and getting nowhere in result. Huh, at least I didn't lose myself like last year.
Art-wise it's kind of the same.
I always get the feeling I draw way too little, yet I manage to produce some work at least? But it kinda could have been more. And it's same as I've described - trying, and trying, yet getting nowhere. Although I've improved a tad, tho! But it's not the same as the jump from 2014 to 2015.
What I like about this year's summary tho, you can see how traditional art (+ the picture in June) had an impact of my digital outcome in December! The shading looks much better (hard/soft edges - this year earlier I was doing the n00b mistake with getting my shading edges too much blurred or blended too much).
You can see also some unpublished works in this span. :p
I don't have any specific plans for my art next year, I'll be just going on as ever!
Self-reflection has been helpful for me so far, I might pick up some art classes, though.
And I just wanna finally get some education that I will like and won't fuck me up. I'd love to study something art-related, however I am really on the edge with my nerves with getting a place in a public school, so I might pick up something else instead. Boo.
Clichée, but..
2017 will be kicking! I've already got some plans for it. :)
I will fill out the improvement timeline once I'll get back from Christmas break.
