The keycard I designed for Midwest Furfest 2016.
I had SO much fun designing this one. Furfest did not have a theme for the convention last year and gave the artists free reign to create what inspired them! This meant I could try on new styles that maybe folks don't expect from me! As a bonus Takaza let me know that the company (PLI) that makes their keycards liked the design so much they entered it into their monthly design contest. And at MFF they surprised me by letting me know it won and presenting me with a framed certificate of the winner announcement! GOLLLYgoshhhhhGUSHHH!!!

Midwest Furfest was kind enough to invite myself and [linkBagheera] to join them for MFF2016 as Guests of Honor. We were beyond humbled by the invitation and cannot express how kind, generous, attentive and incredibly sweet everyone on staff was towards us at the con itself. If any of you read this, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making this con such an uplifting positive experience! Your hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

It is an excellent design and I think it works fantastic as a keycard overlay, there's great depth in the image and the colors all work together so nicely. Congratulations on the surprise win for the contest! That's a unique recognition and I think it speaks volumes to the work you did.
You just melted me into a right fine mess. Thank you so much! I can't say what that means coming from you. I have such a crush on your art and have so for a long time. And seeing that the person behind the art was as down to earth and effervescent a soul as you are, seals the deal all the more! THANK YOU FOR BEING INCREDIBLE!!
