Teko was born into a world that was divided between species, huge walls of stone separated each species of animal from eachother. The animals couldn't see past their differences and ended up hating each other, dogs and wolves against cats, cats against rats, bears against dogs and wolves. When a strange one is born the groups could kick them out into a different species place which was almost as good as a death sentence. Teko was one of these strange animals but not in the same way as most who got kicked out. Teko was special she had a demon wolf Zasshuken guiding her paws when she wasnt sure what to do. Zasshuken though wasn't interested in helping anyone but Teko but that may come at a cost for others lives. Teko's parents saw how different she was and even though she wasnt much more then a newborn they sent her away to the canines where she would come to a quick death.

Kitten Teko couldn't understand what had happened she was safe and warm and now she was freezing in a forest she had never been. She cried and cried hoping her parents would come back for her. It was useless no one wanted her she was left to die. Suddenly she was picked up and cradled gently, Teko looked up and saw a pretty tan female wolf she looked at Teko with all the love of a mother. Teko looked around the she-wolf and saw a smaller male silver and tan wolf pup a bit older then Teko. They left and took Teko to their home where Teko grew stronger with her wolf brother and mother. She shunned being a cat she wanted nothing more then to forget all about them, she hated them. She went on with her young life being a 'wolf' her brother always there to help her and back her up against the other canines who werent to accepting of a cat in their midst.
