There are so many ways to draw birbs! The trouble is choosing which one you like most. I have trouble with this myself because there are so many things that bother me when it comes to drawing humanoid birds! I understand that there's all kinds of room for artistic liberty since I'm drawing a bird/human type thing which is unrealistic to begin with so how however much I wanna stick to anatomical correctness is completely up to me at that point. But, as I said, certain things just BUG me. So these are just a few pet peeves I have when it comes to drawing birbies.

RIght! Like maybe they could lick someone with their weird bird tongues, but that just seams weird. I think just a cute little nibble on the cheek would suffice. That's what my parakeet used to do.
I think ducks or gees have teeth actually. I forget which. And I don't know if any others do. But either way, it looks weird.

If the beak is flexible enough to pronounce some words without sounding weird or interfering with the voice in some way, or that they have teeth and chew with them, then they're not that hard enough to more harmful than teeth. Toons have an easier time getting away from this, because you know, they're cartoons, being impossible is their game.
As for wing hands, I might as well not ask since it makes you angry apparently. Anyway, I think the ones with wings on their backs are more sufficient to your preference though I don't really see why having extra limbs is a problem. If anthro dragons can have no problems with this, why can't anthro birds?

It's a big challenge for sure. I'm still evolving my methods for gracefully combining human and avian anatomy. Because of my occupation, I know avian anatomy too well and have trouble busting out of realism. I hate boobs on birds. A beak cannot suck on a nipple lol. Pigeons produce a milk like substance from their crop and regurgitate it. That works for me. Some people are fixated sexually on mammaries but birds have other sexy qualities so emphasize those. A big fluffy breast or crop is better IMO. There are a lot of creative answers to legs and wings, as well as genitalia. My favorite is full on feral bird with human consciousness, feral cloaca or sometimes a ratite-like phallus in cloaca. Sometimes I'll be anthro with hands, feathered arms (no flight) and with bird feet. In a book I'm writing, an avian species has stages of life with functional wings then changes to have functional hands. Long story lol. Hey can I use this pic for my panels on avian anatomy? With proper credit of course.
I love the wing arms personally. They're cute and I sorta just suspend my disbelief when it comes to getting dressed and using items and such. Some artists have done well making feathers seem like thick fingers or something with mine which also looks great! The wing arms when acknowledge of how cumbersome they can be can also make for some fun jokes and roleplay scenarios in the tabletop games I play.
The webcomic Poppy OPossum actually navigates the wingarm problem of picking things up well too. In that webcomic, birds have small patches on the "elbow" part of their wings (which I wish I remembered the proper term for) that allow for magical hands projected and used. It's the first comic I've seen that tackles the problem in such a good way while using that form of bird body structure.

Ah, the ever present struggle! I can appreciate the variety of ways artists depict avian characters, but I rationalize my own avian character design decisions in two ways; "f-it, this isn't real life, it doesn't need to make sense." and when I still want it to at least make some sense: "it's a bird-like race, not an anthropomorphic version of a real-life bird, and as such can have any characteristics I want without being incorrect for its species."
Coming up with a new species also lets you have an actual reason (beyond aesthetics) for having mammalian features like breasts, even if you're just trying to *cough* make excuses.
In the end though, the various approaches to drawing avian characters is something that makes them interesting to compare and appreciate, so I enjoy seeing what other people come up with even if it isn't my own preference!

I like birbs, though I guess how I draw them depends on the style or fandom. I have a stork named Oliver in the Cuphead fandom and I draw his wings so that the tips of the feathers act as his fingers/thumbs. My Sonic OC Spades is a magpie and his arms are pretty much on par with other bird Mobians like Jet and the other Babylon Rogues. My own 'sona Mafic takes the same approach as Oliver on wings; I tried adapting my long hair to her by adding on a couple long plumage feathers but it'll take a while to perfect. Personally, I don't like bird boobs, but I do like to compensate by making the bird shapely and incorporating feminine characteristics. Though my biggest frustration with birds is why there aren't more of them lol.
Oh! If you've seen the Sonic movie that came out this year, look at Longclaw. Pretty standard wings for an owl but the designers also gave her some form of claws built into the outer joints of the wings to grab onto things (it's the best I can describe it, though looking at footage and stills would probably make it clearer). I think it's neat.
