Tangled bushes, trees and various underbrush surround this creek as the mountains crop up on both sides. The creek always was kind of slow, filled with vegetation and I'm told, actual fish. As I have yet to catch any, I'm assuming this is still a theory held up to attract novice fisherman such as myself with the lure of an easy catch.
