Being far from other members of your family, and not able to see them as often as one would like, sometimes you've got to send them something so it can be a bit like your there.
Josie and I will, once a year, go to a portrait studio that a friend of mine owns and get a recent photo to send to Mom, Dad, aunts and uncles we're close to, and sometimes even a friend or two we haven't seen in a long time. Always works well, although it does get Mom calling to see how we're doing which always leads to why we had to miss a particular holiday or family engagement. But, she understands we're both incredibly busy, what with running a business and all.
Still, gotta throw them a bone here and there, let em know you're alive and well, right?
