After her first Transformation Guide Class, Illusion thinks she is ready to defend herself, and she gets the perfect opportunity.
Illusion stepped out of her first TGC and smiled. The teacher inside had shown her many different techniques.
"Your eye and spots are promising, and that tail is the perfect snare," he said after turning a wolf into a balloon for demonstration. His friends were now punching him with giggles, telling him how he looked just like Hello Kitty, causing blushing from the poor pup. "I haven't seen many Dutch Angel Dragons around, so you might get targeted for your... sight disability." Illusion was quite aware of the bulling it could cause. One of her splotches quivered, remembering its short time as a half shifted necklace. She gave it a light pat.
"Thank you for helping me today." She said with gratitude. "I promise I won't let your teaching go to waste."
She continued walking down the hall before colliding with a raptor. His green tipped wings flared, and he shrieked difiantly. "Watch where your going, one-eye!" He sneered and high fived a buddy next to him. "My name's Pine. Best bird student in my class." He said, and shook himself off, getting small bits of dirt out of his wings.
"I'm Illusion." She said, and the raptor's eyes widened.
"Hey, you're the kid who bested Citrus down in the field!" He said, shocked. This runt was the one who Citrus was talking about? He had to be kidding. This would be a challenge that he could not resist. His voice suddenly got calmer.
"Say, you deserve an award!" He said, readying a spell he learned last period. "You want an award?"
Illusion was suspicious. This seemed like a trap, and she noticed the raptors' wing wave in an odd way. Transformation spell. She wasn't backing down again.
"Actually," she said, closing her eyes to avoid any gases he had in store, "You are just what I'm looking for. I wanted to go down to the alley, so I could find something with a bud." She smiled and opened her blind eye. "Will you escort me? Alone?" She smiled and began to walk. Pine was stunned. Was she really that dumb?
They walked to the alley in question and walked in, unseen. She looked at Pine. "Thanks for taking me here. Now then, what's my reward?" Patience, Illusion, wait for your chance, she thought.
"Well I thought a trophy would be nice. A nice, shiny, polished trophy." Pine reached for Illusion, preparing to link to her mind. Now! Illusion realized, and caused one of her spots to move quickly across her fur. She was lucky for this, she could fight a student, but never a teacher. This raptor was the former.
The raptor touched the spot. It was soft, and he felt like he was sinking it to it. He looked down and realized that it was literal.
"What the-" he shouted, his wing sinking into the plush blob on her arm. His mind seemed to fuzz, but he blocked it and panicked. "What is this?!?"
"Defense." She replied with a sly grin. "You got to cocky and you aren't like the teachers here. You are weaker than them. But you won't be for long." She grinned, thinking about all the ways this could go wrong. But the raptor was flashing through many thoughts and couldn't focus, so she would use the panic to her advantage.
"You could be really strong, like armor. I need armor and you are the perfect kind." The chromatic fur liquified and moved up the raptors' wing, starting to harden at the base and detach from her fur, a new spot forming in its' place.
Pine backed up and tried to swipe off the goo, which was turning a shiny gold with lovely silver streaks. He only managed to get it on his other wing and chest. Was the dragon right? He could be nice, shiny armor, wanted from everyone. He could be so strong, and firm, able to deflect the strongest of swords. His wings stared to stiffen, and his eyes relaxed. Illusion waved her paw and beautiful designs formed on her armor, and she smiled. "Yes, that's very good. It's going to feel so nice, and you won't have to think because armor protects, you are going to make such lovely armor."
By now, Pine's entire body up to his head was covered in the metal. No, he was the metal, a lovely steel with intricate designs. He started to slow his thoughts, he didn't need them. His face dissapeared in the metal, and his thoughts completely stopped. Illusion picked up the new set of perfect falcon armor. The helmet glistened, And she hit it slightly. No dents what so ever.
"Dean Whitestripe?" She called into the office, looking for the tiger. She didn't see him so she placed the armor on his desk.
"Please excuse any interruptions caused by this.." a note read. "I accidentally turned this student into armor for defense and I can't fix him. Please turn him back when you have the time. Thanks, Illusion."
