XD An overo is a horse with a bellyspot or side-spot, but which does not have white that crosses the topline. There are several spot genetics that, when expressed, are considered "overo patterns," namely Sabino, Splash, and Framing. :)
If I remember correctly, most Clydesdales are genetically Sabinos...hence the common high leg markings, white face markings that go over their lips/chins, and of course their frequent overo patterning. :D

Neat! Thank you for the neat info. :) I don't know all that much about horses other than they are pretty and I love them, but I'm learning. :) I noticed that most Clydes have belly spots and decided a long time ago that Dalia had one, but since I always drew her in overalls, nobody ever knew. :)
