Been working on this as a vent from work (It's really relaxing to push colours around!).

The idea was to create a representation of Lovecraft's progenitor god Azathoth. How he described it always left me struggling to picture it, so I just decided to image it as a swirling cloud of matter engulfing stuff as it floats around. You can get an impression of a mouth as it chomps down on a star if you sort of squint, and the rest of the face slowly comes into focus. It's also kind of neat how you can tell what areas are in a more complete state than others- one of the reasons i wanted to upload a peek at this stage in the drawing.

Current events: One week left until Christmas break! I finish work on the 22nd and will have a whole 14 days off to spend with family and waste on prep and free time- should be fun :).
