Sometimes I forget how often I say some things until people whom are paying attention seem to remind me of it.
Well apparently
drpickelle seemed to notice one particular phrase of mine "Let the flood begin"
This phrase seems to be something I occassionally say on Journals where artists or others are giving away or raffling off free art or some other luxury. So instead of actually participating and adding to the already soon to be bombarded section with yet another entry I'll simply say "Let the flood begin!" as a precursor to what is soon about to be a flood of entries for said luxury on the persons journal.
I'm reminded bittersweetly about the people whom used to see me entering into these so called giveaways like any other member of the community and would scold me about entering because of how much artwork I already have. As if there's some unspoken rule that once you have so much art you're NOT ALLOWED anymore. I'm not saying that those people ever got to me and are the reason why I say such phrases instead of actually participating. I still take part on occasions. Afterall just because people tell me I'm some kind of Popuscalie doesn't mean that I don't get the same fanlike tendencies like anyone else when I see some truly awesome person post up a journal offering that rare opportunity. <3
