I doodled far worse than this amazing work.
And that's how it always goes. Some works a better than others, some are worse. Don't be so hard on yourself.

No worries, I actually think that I improved on quite a few things compared to the older drawings. My concerns where mostly with me uploading it right away. Usually I take a break after I feel like I finished the drawing to see I might have missed some mistakes. This time I uploaded it after drawing for about 90 min straight to meet the schedule. I even had trouble focusing my eyes after that xP
In short, I just wasn't sure if I missed anything, don't actually think it looks bad :P

I like striped hyenas mainly for their fur patterns. Anatomy wise I prefer spotted hyenas as well (:
