Guess who went to Midwest FurFest for the first time ever? Me, and the same goes Glass (my fluffy boyfriend) and several other friends for that matter! We stayed there the entire time, and it was extremely fun: I saw tons of other cool faces, attended engaging writing panels, went to a Pepper Coyote concert, bought lots of cool books and gifts, had excellent food, and did many other things like almost winning a Leopardy game show! We also raised a lot for charity, including through a wacky and neat charity auction, so that's super cool. And did I mention how gigantic and varied the markets were? Holy cow, the con was so much fun; I can't wait to go back next year! Thinking about it now though, I do miss it... Sigh...

But hey, at least I got to meet lots of creative artists, including  HotCoffee and  geodedog, amongst other people! One person I met was the visually creative Lord Fenrir, who I commissioned this fantastic badge from! I love its fantasy-like details so freaking much, and I can't wait to wear this to social events. He also made me look energetic and vivid, which is very awesome; Lord Fenrir's definitely talented, and I really like his work. He made me a happier ferret today, that's for sure.
