Once again, a cover of the 1983 Tears for Fears version, not the imho, crap 2001 Andrew Thingy and Jules Whatshisname version.
This one's a metal-like cover. It's got guitar, bass, two drum tracks and the keyboards added to it. The "law" story for the two drum tracks involves Jake actually playing a MIDI kid (the one with the big hexagon pads) for the first time because Maxi didn't know how to play it and the drum machine wasn't loud enough on the recording to be heard over the acoustic kit.
If you'd prefer a version even more like the 80's synthpop original, there's this version!
Song composed by Roland Orzabal. Originally recorded by Tears for Fears in 1983
EDIT: Re-did the drum track and altered a fair bit of the mix. I wasn't quite happy with how everything jelled together, so this version is a fair bit different now and I much prefer it :P

Aye, I can see how the lyrics did suit a softer and more bare-bones approach, though I found the later one didn't have any sorta energy or thing other than "sad", wherein the original had a sorta manic sadness educed by the imbalance between lyrics and music.
But regardless, thank you very much!
