Scapolite! For my friend Zenocross!
After having Peridot defend earth, she decided to send a gem to evaluate the planet’s culture, so she assigned Scapolite to earth, a gem who had very little information about the event that was tied the shattering of Pink Diamond.
Landing on Earth, Connie, Rhodochrosite, and Peridot came across the gem starting his evaluation of the planet. Cautiously approaching him, Peridot was sure that this was Homeworld sending a gem to dissapate her, but Rhodochosite and Connie were sure that he was innocent and didn’t know anything about the rebellion or the war.
Taking him around Beach City, they eventually won the yellow gem over when they took him to the zoo. There, Scapolite fell in love with the animals and didn’t want any harm to come to the planet.
When the three decided to introduce Scapolite to the other Crystal Gems, they were greeted by the other gems upset that they were assisting a Homeworld gem.
As the two sides argued, Scapolite learned about the war, rebellion, and the Crystal Gems. Overwhelmed, he fled. Chros and Connie found him tending to an injuried stray dog. Chros healed the dog who befriended new gem.
Scapolite returned and offered his position to help spy on Homeworld, giving fake ‘updates’ to Homeworld while trying to get update from his superiors.
