My latest endeavour. I made this and another song in the course of an afternoon jam a little bit ago. I've only recorded the guitar for the other one, even though it was conceived prior to this one. I've been sitting on this for a while now, as I recorded it like a good number of weeks ago, probably like a month.

I attribute my musical in-activity to work, as we are getting quite busy, and I find myself sauntering home only to want to chill and hang out and play some vids. I jammed last sunday and we created a wicked song, (I'll post when we record a really good take of it, which shouldn't take too much to get). Other than that, I haven't picked up the guitar too much. Hopefully I'll rectify that this weekend. One can hope.

Anywho, on to business. This is the product of me being in the vein of 80's Alt Rock. This is due to the station we found at work that actually doesn't suck. It's "First Wave" on Sirius and is all the early 80's New Wave and Alt Rock that I love so much. Also, I've got a couple of cds from Siouxsie and the Banshees that I really am in to, so I cite them as a major influence on this song.

I've pretty much got it all done here, just a touch of drum tweaking needed. Maybe a bit of guitar tone tweaking. EQing and mixing of course. There's not going to be a solo in here, as the section that would house such a thing I think works better as a bridge with what would be vocals in it. Vocals are all that's really missing here.

The bass comes in on the downbeat here with the drums, even tho the guitar is I think on the and of 4 in the bar ahead *can't remember/think, is tired. So I'm not sure if I like it how it is or if I wanna slap in so it's all on the same page as each other. Thoughts?
