It's Jolyn's birthday today! I wanted to do a nice watercolor for her, but the ink I used is water soluble, and I lost my bag of paint tubes. I was using the scraps left on my pallet.
My scanner butchered this beyond all belief. SW has a pink area on her nose above the dark spot, but it didn't scan at all! And her earrings sparkle irl, but didn't pick up well.
Sooo since Jolyn is going to have to wait until we see each other to understand it's not shitty, I made another version with the same lineart. I'll be uploading it next.

You are the first besides the people here with me atm to mention a happy birthday to me and thank you! I just LOVE this picture of SW and wtf it doesn't look shitty at all! I know how scanners can rape your hard work though, and take out details. I just love her face here and how happy and playful she looks, it's so suiting! The tongue is great and gah your coloring!! I love the shading of the fur and the hair, and how you used some darker purples to make shadows. I am in love with how you did her ears. The floof, the flow of them, it's just gorgeous! And the earrings look just great too. I love her eyes and her pretty sparkly purple eyeshadow!!

When you see this irl, you will understand why my scanner and I aren't on speaking terms. I colored the little pink bit above your nose and that black stripe at the corner of your eye and you wouldn't even know.
I'm so so so glad you like it! I was a little frustrated because it wasn't coming out as glorious as I had hoped, but if you like it that's all that matters. I hope you're having fun tonight!
