I first heard this song in a cover/reimaging of a Swedish version, which resulted in my husband digging up the English-language song, and I've been fond of it since. Your cover is amazing! The sound of both the ukulele and your voice have a sort of... fragile quality to them, and it goes so well with the song.
This is a beautiful cover. "The Parting Glass" has always been a somber song to me, especially since playing it as a dirge for fallen family members is tradition for my partner's family. Your voice is beautiful and it lends the song a certain ephemeral quality that greatly suites the song. Two thumbs up.
