Late at night, Stitch, Angel and all the other Experiments had just finished watching the romantic comedy. All the girls wept happily while guys just sat there fake smiling.
Leroy leaned over to whisper to Stitch. "That was pretty much a chick flick from start to finish."
"I know," whispered Stitch, "But if it makes the girls happy who are we guys to complain?"
Angel stood up and took the movie out of the DVD player. "Now it's time for Stitch's movie choice.
Anybody have to go to the bathroom or anything before we start?"
Houdini raised his hand. "I do."
Shush raised her hand next. "I'm going to go get one of Nani's pillows to lay down on. Makes it more comfortable."
"Okay," said Angel politely, "Anyone else?" Everyone else shook their heads. "Okay then. We'll wait for you two to come back." As Houdini and Shush left the room, Stitch made his way over to Angel. The two looked at everyone happily.
"Wow," said Stitch quietly, "Everything's going great."
"I know," said Angel excitedly quiet, "And look at those two." She pointed at Yaarp and Belle. "They haven't stopped flirting since the middle of the movie."
"And look at Bonnie and Leroy." Stitch pointed over at them as they could be seen talking and laughing quietly to themselves. "They're really hitting it off too. Makes me glad that she brought him along."
"Yeah." Angel grabbed the bottom of her pajama top and stretched out a little like she was examining a dress. "These were a great idea. It really makes it feel more like a sleepover."
"Yeah but..." Stitch looked over at Spike sitting by himself, only wearing the pajama bottoms. "I feel bad for Spike. He can't wear the top or get close to any of us because of his quills."
Angel gently placed her hand on his shoulder. "Let's go talk to him. Cheer him up a little." They walked over and sat down in front of Spike, where he had no quills on his body. "Hey Spike."
"Hey Angel." Spike was putting on a brave face but they could tell he was upset. "That was...uhh...a rather okay movie."
"Eeyup," said Angel, "You'll love the next one. It's suppose to be really suspenseful and action-packed."
"Cool." Just as Spike began to smile for real, Belle let out a piercing scream of hers that startled Spike, causing quills from his back to fly off and barely miss Houdini. The close call caused his ability to activate when he blinked and the TV then turned invisible.
"Belle!" Angel kept her cool as best she could.
"I'm sorry," she said hastily, "A spider jumped down onto my arm I freaked out!"
"She's actually...REALLY terrified of those things you guys." Yaarp comforted Belle as she trembled slightly in her arms.
Stitch comforted Houdini who was also trembling from his near miss of almost being "stupefied". Calming down from Stitches comfort, he re-blinked and made the TV reappear. Shush came back in from the kitchen not one moment afterwards.
"What happened? I hear Belle scream and I go temporarily deaf, and the next thing I know everyone looks down in the dumps."
Angel walked up to her. "I'll explain everything." Angel looked over to Stitch and gestured her head towards Spike. Stitch looked over and could see him slumped in the corner. He could practically see a tiny rain cloud floating above his head. Stitch felt terrible for seeing him even more depressed than he was earlier.
Bonnie noticed this and felt a strong urge to help out as well. "Wait right here big guy, I'll be back." Coming up to Stitch, she placed her hand on his shoulder to get his attention and whispered to him. "Let's leave him be for a little bit. I think I know what you're thinking, lets you and me go take a look together."
Stitch nodded in agreement and they both then made their way to Jumba's room. Heading inside they booted up the pod container that all previous Experiments were stored in.
Stitch began punching in button sequences on the container. "Since Jumba took the laptop, this is the only way to find what we're looking for."
"What," exclaimed Bonnie, "I didn't know he took it. How's the container suppose to help us? All it does is tell you when and which Experiment was activated."
"Don't worry," said Stitch, "Jumba upgraded it last month so it can have the same functionality as the laptop."
"Oh," said Bonnie mildly surprised, "Well lucky us."
Pushing one final button on the containers key pad, it's computer voice began to speak. "Welcome, Experiment 626: Designate Stitch. How may I be of service?"
Stitch spoke what he typed. "Please search all Experiments numbered 001 to 623 for any unique ability relating to nullifying other Experiments' unique abilities."
"Searching." The computer began making digital-based sounds.
"Well whadda you know," said Bonnie sarcastically, "Guess we really were thinking the same thing." Stitch looked at her with an annoyed yet friendly smile. "What? We were weren't we?"
"Search complete." Stitch looked back toward the container. "No results found."
"What?" Bonnie grumpily made her way to the key pad. "I know Jumba. There's no way he didn't make an Experiment who could do something like that." Bonnie typed in the same thing Stitch did.
"Searching.....Search complete. No results found."
"You stupid hunk of junk!" Stitch placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Bonnie, it if couldn't find one the first time, it's not going to find it a second time." Disappointment ran across both of their faces. "Look we were curious and wanted to help our friends. But it is what it is. I can already tell you'd probably enter the same question over and over again all night. I'm stopping that from happening."
"Heh," Bonnie smiled, "Yeah you're probably right. Sounds like the start of a cliche in a comedy huh?" Stitch chuckled softly. "Hey...mind if I enter it one more time? You know what they say; third time's the charm."
Stitch took his hand off her shoulder. "Sure." He said politely.
Bonnie typed in the same question once more. But she didn't realize that she had accidentally hit the same lettered key before searching:
'Please search all Experiments numbered d01 to 623 for any unique ability relating to nullifying other Experiments' unique abilities.'
The computer voice answered with a different reply. "Alphanumeric option selected for search. Searching."
"Alphanumeric?" Stitch said as Bonnie embarrassingly blushed.
"Whoops," she said placing her hands on each side of her face, "I guess I accidentally hit 'd' twice instead of zero after I typed in 'numbered'."
"Search complete," said the computer, "Error. No D01 alphanumeric Experiment found. Only one alphanumeric Experiment on record."
Stitch and Bonnie were moderately surprised. "Wait," said Bonnie, "There really IS one?" She then typed in a different question. "Who is this single Experiment?"
"Accessing." A holographic image of the Experiment was then projected. "Alphanumeric Experiment F86. Primary function: Nullification of all other Experiments' primary functions. Note: only twenty Experiments can be nullifies at a time. No more than this number is possible until one such Experiment's primary function is restored."
Both Stitch and Bonnie went silent from shock momentarily. Stitch spoke one word as Bonnie finished the two worded sentence.
"Holy-!"
"Moly!"
They both spoke at the same time after that. "There actually IS an Experiment that can help us!"
Bonnie then selected the "Release Pod" option and an Experiment Pod that was a lighter shade if Spike's color blue appeared in the container's center after a secret compartment located in its center opened up.
The computer spoke to them one last time before they reached for the pod. "Experiment F86. Female. Secret Experiment created as a fail-safe, 'F' being the representation of this function, after Experiment 085's creation. At the conclusion that more Experiments would indeed be created, creator Jumba Jookiba thought it necessary to have a fail-safe in place in case of rogue
Experiments."
Stitch reached in and grabbed F86's pod. "So that's why we've never heard of her."
"Who'd ah thought that the only Experiment not yet activated would have the ability we were looking for?"
"Yeah," said Stitch with a chuckle, "What are the odds?"
"So," asked Bonnie excitedly, "Are we gonna let her out?"
"Well of course we are." Stitch gently examined her pod. "Not one of our Cousins is gonna stayed cooped up in pod form. That's not fair to them. Come on, let's take her downstairs and show everyone."
Back in the living room, Stitch was confronted by an angry Angel. She puffed her cheeks slightly and then whispered to him. "I thought you were going to comfort Spike?"
"Easy Angel," said Stitch defensively, "That's exactly what I was doing. Check this out." He held out F86's pod in his hand.
Angel grabbed her pod and examined it curiously. "F86? Is this another Experiment?"
"She sure is," said Bonnie, "And she's totally going to help make Spike feel better. Gather everyone
up so we can all greet her together."
Angel was confused at first. "Ummm......"
"Trust me," said Stitch, "The sooner the better for all of us, including her."
Angel could see the honesty in his eyes. She smiled and gently grasped the pod with both hands. "Okay Boojiboo. You go get some water and I'll tell everyone as I gather them up."
"I'll take care of Leroy," said Bonnie,"He's gonna love this for sure."
Angel gathered everyone up and explained to them what they were going to do. Stitch was already back with a glass of water so they all knew where to gather around. Angel helped a still-depressed Spike over to their circle they were forming and she sat him down next to Stitch while she sat on the other side. He at first thought it wasn't a god idea to sit so close to him but Stitch and Angel didn't care as they kindly smiled at him. He himself smirked slightly towards their kindness and trust.
"Okay," said Stitch excitedly, "Are you all ready to meet one more Cousin?" Everyone nodded and smiled with anticipation. "Alright then." Stitch held the glass of water over F85's pod on the floor in the center of their circle. "Let's give her a nice warm welcome." He tilted the glad slightly so only a single drop of water fell out and onto the pod. The pod began to glow and expand in a bright ball of energy as they all looked on with excitement.
Back in France, Lilo stands at the door of their apartment, impatiently waiting for Jumba. "Come on Jumba! Nani and David are holding our place for the fireworks show! They're wondering where we are!"
"Almost ready," said Jumba, "Just need to plug in computer to charge." He plugged the laptop's cord into the outlet and imitated wiping his hands clean. "There we are." He threw on his signature disguise. "Pleakley should be back from museum soon. He'll be sure to unplug so as not to cause fire."
Lilo shook her head slightly yet grinned. "You do way too much science stuff you know that?"
"Eh," said Jumba as they headed out the door, "Everyone needs hobby."
Unknown to either of them as the door closed behind them, a message in red suddenly appeared across the screen of the laptop: "Physical evolutionary event for all active Experiments slowly underway. WARNING; proper number of male and female Experiments present in single location. Testosterone and estrogen levels slowly rising."
Leroy leaned over to whisper to Stitch. "That was pretty much a chick flick from start to finish."
"I know," whispered Stitch, "But if it makes the girls happy who are we guys to complain?"
