It was a regular day, during the Christmas vacation, a lazy day where John could just stay lazy in bed. He was at his parents' home, along with his sister, to celebrate the new year. He made sure to lock his room so his sister couldn't pull a prank like last time, even though she needed his girlfriend to pull is and she was not with them this time.
He woke up slowly. He gave his clock a glance. 11:30 am. Barely the sunrise, he chuckled to himself.
He rose from his bed, put on his bunny slippers, then walked to his door, unlocking it and opening it to find his sister standing on the other side.
"Hey sis !" She asked, chuckling to herself at calling her brother 'sis'. "Guess what I got from Santa !"
In the haze of his half-awake state, John wondered what she was talking about, then remembered that Santa was real, that his sister served as his local replacement last week, and that he was one of the two "reindeer" pulling her sleigh. He suddenly felt a chill.
His sister had her arms behind her back. Surely, she was hiding something. Indeed, she was holding one of those black and white wands magicians are known to wave around. Only, this one was clearly the real deal. The sparks of barely-suppressed magic showed it.
He only had the time to think "Oh boy, here we go again" before blacking out when she zapped him with the wand.
He couldn't tell how long it was since he blacked out when he woke up. The first thing he did was rubbing his eyes with his hands. His huge, gloved hands. Oh of course. She put him in a costume. AS USUAL.
The next thing he did was check his chest. No breast forms. That wasn't too bad, then, for once. There had to be a catch.
He looked around him. He was sitting on straw, there was a huge bottle with a metal straw, a gigantic running wheel, and a shallow metal pool filled with various huge pellets. He also was surrounded with tall, transparent plastic wall, and the high ceiling was made of the same plastic with holes in it.
It suddenly dawned on him that it wasn't the objects that were big. This was a regular hamster cage. He just was mouse-sized.
The screaming took a minute before dying down. As the panic receded enough to let him think, he checked himself. Big paw-gloves, check. Fuzzy costume, check. Still male, thanks god, check. Long, mouse tail that moved on its own, check. Pair of round ears attached to his scalp, check. Big ol' buckteeth, check. Yup, he was a mouse, or at least in a magical mouse costume, he guessed.
He then heard a loud noise and almost panicked again. He turned into the direction of the noise, and found that it was his sister opening the door to her room, which, in hindsight, was clearly where his cage was right now.
She walked up to the desk where his cage was. She seemed huge. He was a bit terrified by that giantess he called his sister.
She lowered her face to his level. It was only then that he noticed the cat ears headband she was wearing.
"Errrr... Hi, sis."
She squealed. It seemed a lot lower and deeper than usual somehow. "Oh you sound so cute !", she said, in an usually deep voice.
"Errrr..." He was at a loss for words.
"You're so cute I could eat you." Combined with the cat ears and hungry look in her eyes, it seemed a lot scarier than it usually seems.
"I (g-glp) I hope you don't mean that literally, do you ?"
She blinked, then started laughing with a roaring laughter that left him shaken. One thing was sure at least, he wasn't getting out of his cage any time soon.
Three days later, three days of sleeping on straw, eating bland pellets made of grain and veggies, drinking water from a metal straw the size of his mouth and running in a wheel as what passes for fun, she finally returned him to normal, complete with the clothes turning back into the pajamas he was wearing.
Of course, he asked her why she turned him back. It was because their parents started asking questions about where he was. He was torn between two opinions. Either their parents were really THAT clueless, or they knew something and just... let her have her fun.
Of course, as far as her fun goes, it was unusually... tame, for her. Sure, she turned him into her pet mouse, but she didn't bother him much, and was pretty nice, and did give good scritchies (On realizing he tough that he suppressed a shudder).
All in all, out of all the weird encounters he had with his sister, it was one of the less annoying ones, even though he never felt as powerless as he did during the first day.
