Last monday, Erika Strobel sent me her original script of the episode Excalibroke to show me how to write a spec script (as I want to enter the animation world by starting as a scriptwriter, I will try to do spec scripts this winter), and as usual, it was a pleasure and a honor to read things from the BD production and I could see some lines and scenes were cut, that was sad…
Especially 3 elements.
In the episode, as Excaliburn is broken, Camelhot is dying and stinking, Blaze’s flowers died and and Griddle got ugly and wrinkly.
But an element wasn’t used in the final version, Burnevere’s armor got so rusted he couldn’t move. Imagine how hilarious it could be !
Second element, at one point of the episode, Blaze makes funerals for his “friends”, his flowers.
Well, in the orginal script, Burnevere was supposed to try to comfort him, but got stuck midway because of his rusty armor ! Burnevere being sweet to Blaze is my weak point !
3rd element in another submission coming right up.
